Covid rates are continuing to fall in the South West, according to data provided by Bristol City Council. At the end of the week ending November 8, it was estimated that 1 in 58 people had Covid nationally.
Regionally, the rate is slightly higher, being estimated at 1 in 54. However, according to the data, Bristol, BANES and North Somerset have an estimate of 1 in 61 people with Covid.
Certain areas of Bristol have more than others. As it stands, Brislington is the area with the highest number of cases, with a total of seven. This puts the latest case rate as 105.3 cases per 100,000 people.

Totterdown and Stockwood both have six cases in total, which represents the upper end of most other areas of Bristol - the lower end being four cases. Most areas of the city sit between four to six cases.
In nearby South Gloucestershire, Almondsbury, Pilning & Severn Beach have a total of 10 cases, putting their case rate at 111.4 cases per 100,000 people.
According to Bristol City Council, there are currently 35 patients in hospital with Covid, and less than five patients are currently in ICU. A total of nine people have died in the city with Covid over the last four weeks, which signifies 3% of all deaths in that period.
