Passengers travelling with budget airline Ryanair on this Bank Holiday Monday could be in a spot of bother as the airline faces multiple cancellations amid the strikes by French air traffic controllers.
In Irish airports, the Bank Holiday Monday strike is set to impact around 35 flights arriving into and departing from Dublin Airport, along with others in Cork and Belfast.
Any passenger grabbing a flight today that is passing through French airspace has been advised to contact their airlines for updates.

Ryanair has advised that all affected passengers will have been told about their options if their flight was one of the cancelled ones. You can check if it was on our guide here.
A statement from Ryanair to the Irish Mirror said that “Affected passengers have been notified and advised of their options.”
Aer Lingus, who have not been as impacted by the strikes, issued advice for the customers who were set to board the one return flight between Dublin and Paris on Monday. As with Ryanair, these customers were advised of their options.
Aer Lingus said: “Due to planned French industrial action we have been forced to cancel one return flight between Dublin and Paris, Monday, May 1 as mandated by Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
“All impacted customers have received a communication via SMS or email to advise them of their travel options.
“While the rest of our schedule will operate as planned customers travelling to other European destinations tomorrow, Monday, May 1, may experience some delays as a result. Customers can check the status of their flight on aerlingus.com or via the App.”
