TikTok star Randy Gonzalez's six-year-old son Brice has broken his silence following his dad's shock death – saying he wishes he could "huge and kiss one more time".
He was a huge part of the father-son duo, who boast more than 15million followers on social media, and says his dad is "finally at peace" in a new statement.
Randy, known for his and Brice's channel Enkyboys, sadly passed away aged 35 – just nine months after revealing a stage four colon cancer diagnosis.
The father-of-three was given only two to three years to live back in 2021 – but was told that chemotherapy would give him an additional five years.
Confirming the news, a statement attributed to Brice on their official Instagram page reads: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my father, Randy Gonzalez.
"My dad fought a long battle with cancer and is finally at peace with our Lord. I would Like to thank everyone for your kind words & condolences. It really means a lot."
The family announced a public memorial in Houston, Texas. Explaining that more information on the meet-up would be "provided at a later date".
Brice continued: "I wish I could hug you and give you a kiss one more time dad, but I know you will be watching over me, mom and the girls."
"Until I see you again dad. I promise to make you proud. I love you. Please keep my family in your prayers. Thanks," the touching tribute continued.
It was in December last year, in one of his last ever videos, that he told fans he was "doing good" but commented that his chemotherapy plan was "not working".
"I do feel good," he explained while stood with his wife and son Brice. "I'm just happy we're back in Texas with the family," he said – also explaining he felt "sick all the time".
A GoFundMe account was previously set up to raise money for his treatment and more than $200,000 (£161k) has been raised to date.
Brice recently landed a huge TV role playing Chance in the NBC sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez starring George Lopez, which premiered in November.
Leading the tributes this week, George said on Instagram : "My sincerest condolences to Brice and the entire Gonzalez family.
"The love and the bond Randy had for his son and his family was undeniable, you can see it in every video. He will be missed, but never forgotten."
He concluded: "My heart goes out to the entire family." Randy is survived by his wife Kimberly, son Brice and daughters Lauran and Aubree.
