Filming came to an end on a new ITV drama set in Nottingham just as revellers were leaving bars in the early hours.
Without Sin, starring Wollaton-born Vicky McClure, wrapped at 3am after two months of filming at various locations around the city.
The final scenes were shot in Nottingham city centre in the early hours over the weekend, just as momentum is building for the BAFTA-winning actress' latest thriller Trigger Point, which hits the screens this Sunday.
Vicky told Nottinghamshire Live: "We wrapped at 3 o'clock in the morning in the middle of Nottingham city centre as everyone was spilling out the bars and it was a great way to wrap.
"The city felt really alive and everyone was so excited - we had a low loader out, a massive truck which carries a car on the back of it so it causes quite a lot of commotion."
The star posted photos on social media of herself and co-star Johnny Harris, on day one, and the final day, opposite the Cornerhouse, with the taxi her character Stella drives in the series parked in the lay-by outside the Royal Centre.
The four-part psychological thriller is co-produced by Build Your Own Films, Vicky and her partner Jonny Owen's new production company.
Without Sin explores the relationship which develops between a grieving mother, played by Vicky, and the man she believes murdered her teenage daughter.
It has been written by Nottingham-born Frances Poletti.
Film crews have been spotted at locations including Forest Road West.
Line of Duty and This is England star Vicky, who still lives locally, said: "It was lovely to see the filming happening around the city, and we've loads of different people involved and locations.
"Everyone has been really welcoming and helpful. It's been a joy. Me filming something set in Nottingham with a heavy Nottingham crew has been a massive tick on the list because I've been desperate to get that done.
"I think we're created something really unique and compelling so hopefully we'll get that out as soon as and Nottingham can sing on the screen."
Philip Brown @Tidy_Box on Twitter reacted: "It's great to see Nottingham attracting work again. You have been a huge asset in helping deliver that."
The drama features young talent from Nottingham's Television Workshop - the launch pad for Vicky's acting career.
One teenage actress tweeted: "Amazing well done. Can’t wait to watch this and maybe catch a glimpse of my elbow or shoulder in the background."
