Latin American restaurant, bar and nightclub MNKY HSE has confirmed its opening date for its second UK site in Manchester city centre later this month. The venue, which is pronounced "Monkey House", is well known for its stylish original outpost in London beloved by celebs.
Now bosses have confirmed that the new site, on Lloyd Street, will officially open its doors to the public on Friday, October 14.
It will boast what is being described as "a multi-sensory design and lighting experience", with a central bar, open kitchen and prominent DJ booth – alongside a curated live music programme.

The restaurant also has its own nightclub with a separate speakeasy style entrance, and late-night license. Complete with 102 covers, bosses say the new venue will offers Mancunians a "one-of-a-kind dining and drinking experience".
Director of Culinary Operations Mark Morrans was previously head chef at Señor Ceviche London, and joins the restaurant in Manchester to create the new menu which he said will champion high quality, contemporary Latin American cuisine with a Japanese influence. Highlights are set to include crunchy tacos, sushi, ceviche and Chilean sea bass
MNKY HSE Manchester will have a special focus on cocktails with an extensive list although prices have not yet been revealed. It will include cocktails that blend flavours such as dark chocolate, lime, chilli and tropical flowers with whiskey, rum and tequila, bringing guests the "ultimate taste of South America".
Boris Kofman, MNKY HSE Co-Founder, said: “MNKY HSE Manchester is the perfect place to eat, drink and play – with a restaurant, bar and club under the same roof. The new MNKY HSE Manchester offering is accessible for all and we can’t wait to welcome our first guests through the doors next month.”
Bookings are now open for the restaurant and bar venue, which will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm to 1am. The last table booking will be 10.45pm for the restaurant/bar, while the nightclub will be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10.30pm until 4am.
MNKY HSE first opened its doors at 10 Dover Street, Mayfair in 2016, where it created a new type of dining experience. It saw Latin American cuisine re-imagined in a bold space that transforms as the night evolves.
Subsequent locations have since opened in Doha and Riyadh. Manchester marks the second UK venue for the brand.
