Viewers of the Late Late Show were in awe of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk, who spoke about his love for his children and how he was saved after suffering a heart attack on set.
The Illinois-born Emmy award-winning comedy writer, who wrote for the likes of The Simpsons, Futurama and Tenacious D, told Ryan Tubridy that he is going to spend the next two weeks hiking around Ireland, something he always wanted to do.
Odenkirk, who played Saul Goodman in the iconic Breaking Bad and later Better Call Saul, said he is half-Irish, with two of his grandmother's coming from the Emerald Isle.

He told of how it wasn't until 46-years-old that he received his break-out role in Breaking Bad, having previously been a comedy writer and not well-known as an actor, unlike many of his friends, which he said he saw get famous in Hollywood.
After Breaking Bad finished, he told of how it was his relationship with his son and daughter that eventually led him to take the leading role in Better Call Saul, having previously turned it down twice to focus on "family life."
"They (producers) really wanted me to do it. It was exciting to think I could do a show like that, but my kids were 13 and 15, there was too much going on at home. I had to say no but the kids overheard me say no.
"Both kids came to me on the same day and told me you should do it, saying they would help out at home," he said.
The 60-year-old said having a heart attack during the final season of filming Better Call Saul ultimately led him deciding to finally come visit Ireland, something he had always wanted to do but his kids were too young.
Twitter erupted when they realised the American star was featuring on the Late Late Show, which was significantly delayed due to Biden's address in Ballina, County Mayo.
One user said: "Lovely to see mrbobodenkirk on #LateLateShow. He gave birth to one of THE great TV characters of all time. Incredible talent."
Another wrote: "Bob Odenkirk is a good egg."
While one final commenter joked: "Is Bob Odenkirk Irish aswell. Give him to Waterford for feck sake. We get no one!!"
