Northern Irish comedian Patrick Kielty is now the bookies' favourite to take on the role of the new Late Late Show host.
After Ladbrokes called it a "two-horse race" between Prime Time's Sarah McInerney and Kielty, the RTE presenter confirmed she is not in the running to take over.
Paddy Power is now placing the Co Down comedian well ahead for the presenter's chair with odds of 5/6 for becoming the new Late Late host.

He is just one of the big names in the running to take over the coveted role from Ryan Tubrity who will host his final show later this month after 14 years.
On Friday, Sarah McInerney released a statement which revealed she had not "thrown her hat" in at RTE to take over, making Kielty the hot favourite.
Taking to social media, Sarah said: "I'd like to confirm that I'm not taking over The Late Late Show from either Ryan Tubridy or James Cordon. Nor have I sought Waystar from Logan Roy.
"Though the prospect of grilling young children over their toy choices every December would be enticing, I let RTE management know a couple of weeks ago that I wouldn't be throwing my hat in the ring.
"Ryan Tubridy has done an exceptional job at the helm of The Late Late Show. I'll really miss him on Friday nights, and I wish his successor the very best of luck."
