Late Late Show guest appearance postponed as RTE release statement

Late Late Show producers have confirmed that one star, who was due to chat with Ryan Tubridy tonight, has postponed their appearance.

RTE confirmed on Thursday evening that musician David Keenan would not be live in the studio tonight.

The Louth artist was set to perform his viral hit, El Paso, which he wrote when he was just 14 years old.

Fans will have to wait a little longer to hear his ode to his native town of Dundalk after RTE confirmed he will instead appear on the chat show at a later date.

A statement from RTE said: "David Keenan’s appearance on tomorrow night’s Late Late Show has been postponed for a later date."

Despite this, the Late Late Show will still be jam-packed tomorrow with celeb chats and music performances.

It has been 25 years since B*Witched stormed to the top of the charts with C'est la Vie, and they are back. Tonight, Edele and Keavy Lynch, Sinéad O'Carroll and Lindsay Armaou will join presenter Ryan Tubridy live on air.

Big Brother champion Brian Dowling Gourounlian and his husband, Dancing with the Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian will also pop in for a chat with Ryan. They’ll be talking about their recent surrogacy journey and the birth of their new baby Blake.

Entrepreneur and broadcaster Spencer Matthews will speak about his moving new documentary Finding Michael. The new programme shows the ex-reality tv star retracing his late brother's last steps on Mount Everest before he disappeared during his descent in 1999. Michael was just 22 years old at the time.

Clare GAA legend and Ireland's Fittest Family coach Davy Fitzgerald will also be on the show tonight. He’ll be opening up about fatherhood and mentoring a group of 18-24-year-old lads who are facing difficulties in their lives as he prepares them for a big trek in Iceland in the series return of Davy’s Toughest Team.

You can tune into the Late Late Show on Friday night at 9.35 pm on RTE One.
