Gina Coladangelo told Matt Hancock to "be himself" before he entered the I'm a Celebrity jungle.
Mr Hancock became publicly linked with Gina after their affair went viral when CCTV footage emerged of them together. Since then the pair have remained an item and Gina flew out to support the MP as he entered the jungle.
Mr Hancock faced fierce scrutiny well before he was officially announced as a cast member and for the duration of his time on the show. Knowing he would deal with a different situation than his campmates, Gina offered him one final piece of advice before touching down in Australia.

She said: "I think it’s fair to say that Matt underestimated the scale of the reaction to him coming into the jungle. He’s made of tough stuff, this summer we trekked around Mont Blanc together in 4 days.
"My last words to him were just be yourself, be the Matt I know and it’ll go really well." Despite Gina's initial assumptions, Mr Hancock went on to place third in the competition.
He may have secured a respectable position but he was eclipsed in the votes by runner-up Owen Warner and Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott. With less than a quarter of the public swaying in his favour, the former health secretary bowed out before being met with Gina's embrace on the famous rope bridge.
