Last picture of Melanie Panayiotou was taken days after George Michael's funeral

The last known picture of George Michael's sister Melanie Panayiotou was taken days after her brother's funeral in 2017.

Melanie died suddenly on Christmas Day at the age of 55, exactly three years after George died on Christmas Day 2016.

In the photo she is seen carrying a large bunch of flowers as she left George's home in Highgate, North London, four days after his funeral.

Melanie continued to share news about George's work and legacy with his loyal fans on his official website in the years after he died.

The last message came just days before Melanie passed away as the family looked forward to a "peaceful" 2020.

It said: "We are, as usual, staying as positive as possible, which is what we and Yog would wish for you all, and we are all hoping for a peaceful 2020."

The message was signed by Melanie and George's other sister Yioda.

The cause of death is yet to be revealed but police are not treating it as suspicious.
