If you're looking for a holiday that's full of sunshine, amazing food and fascinating history, then you'll want to add Malta to the bucket list.
The island ticks all of the boxes, not to mention it has some quirky attractions including an abandoned Popeye-themed village, and plenty of Game of Thrones filming locations.
Throw in the wide array of hotels catering for everyone from couples to families, and the fact it's open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated UK travellers, and it's no surprise that Malta has become a firm holiday favourite with Brits in recent years.
The best part is that you don't need to break the bank to visit; in fact, Mirror Holidays is currently offering £100pp discounts on Malta holidays.
Sign up to the Mirror's travel newsletter to receive more deals, tips and travel news direct in your inbox.
To snap up the deal, simply book a Malta holiday with Mirror Holidays that's departing before June 30, 2022, and enter the discount code MALTA100 at checkout.
You can check out the full list of Malta holidays for inspiration. There are heaps of brilliant hotels included too whether you're looking to relax poolside, want a home-away-from-home as a base for exploring, or even just fancy treating yourself to a luxurious break.
It's worth noting that terms and conditions do apply. For example, the discount applies to new bookings only, and there's a minimum stay of seven nights. It's also only applicable for adults. You can get the full details and T&Cs on mirrorholidays.co.uk.
At the time of writing, Malta has reopened to all UK visitors, including for holidays - although there are entry rules in place.
All passengers aged 12 and over will need to be able to show proof of one of the following; full Covid vaccination, a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before travel, or a rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours.
Children aged 6 to 11 can travel with their vaccinated parents/legal guardian but will need to show proof of a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours before travel.
Children under the age of six are exempt from testing.
If a child has a vaccination certificate, they can travel with this instead of a PCR test.
