A last-minute change of heart saw a man win a whopping $1 million after he purchased a scratchcard at a petrol station.
Ray Flowers Jr, 66, from New Bern near North Carolina, US, revealed he first thought about buying a cheap scratchcard at the Fuel Market on 110 Riverdale Road.
The sales merchandiser randomly changed his mind and bought a $10 (£8.20) Jumbo Bucks instead, and was blown away when he saw that he had won the $1 million (£820,000) jackpot.
Mr Flowers reflected back on the winning moment and said: "Something just drew me to that one.
"I was probably more dumbfounded than anything else."

He then immediately headed home to show his wife the scratchcard, who at first thought her husband was joking.
The 66-year-old lucky winner, who plans to semi-retire, said: "She didn't believe me. She thought it was a fake ticket."
Flowers appeared at lottery headquarters in North Carolina's capital Raleigh and claimed his winnings on Friday 2 December.
Despite being able to choose the prize as an annuity of $50,000 (£41,000) a year for a period of 20 years, he decided to go for the lump sum of $600,000 (£493,000).
Flowers took home exactly $426,063 (£349,806) following federal and state taxes.
He said: "I was very relieved because I've been thinking about semi-retiring and this will help with that."
Aside from semi-retiring, the sales merchandiser said he will donate some of the money to his church, as well as help his family with the rest.

The huge win comes just days after a North Carolina couple won $1million on a $30 (£24) scratchcard after stopping at 7-Eleven to buy petrol on Black Friday.
Laura Keen's boyfriend was running low on petrol and stopped off at South Main Street in Kernersville to fill-up.
The boyfriend went to fill up the car as Laura decided to purchase a coffee and a $30 scratchcard inside the store.
She headed back to the car and scratched off the ticket and was amazed to have won $1million.
Laura said: "I was screaming. He was screaming. We both were screaming. We were just in shock, just shock.
''We would never have won that if that gas light had not gone off."
