Running enthusiasts have only four days left to register for "Guanyin Charity Run 2023", which will take place at Yitongtiantai, a Guanyin temple located at the Saha Group Industrial Park Kabinburi in Prachin Buri province on Jan 15.
The race is held with the aim to promote nature tourism in Kabin Buri district which has many tourist attractions and push exercise and healthcare among employees of Saha Group and local people.
There are two categories -- a 5k fun run and a 10k mini-marathon, with the running route set within the industrial park.
Application fees are 459 baht for the fun run, 549 baht for the mini marathon and 1,999 baht for VIP runners in either fun run or mini marathon, including running shirts and bibs. Parts of the proceeds will go towards the provision of air diffuser pumps for Kabinburi Hospital. Alternatively, apply in person at the office of Saha Group Industrial Park Kabinburi located at the KBSC golf course.
Applicants can pick up their running shirts and bibs at the Kabinburi Sports Club on Jan 14 from 10am to 6pm. On race day, the opening ceremony will be held at 5.40am. The 10k race will start at 5.50am and the 5k race at 6am.
