
The spectacular Sphere Las Vegas opened on Sept. 29, 2023, with iconic rock band U2 performing its U2/UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere residency, which ran for 40 shows and ended on March 2, 2024.
Since U2 stepped on the Sphere stage, the venue has delivered immersive experiences with the latest audio and video technology including a wraparound LED screen and advanced sound system.

After U2's inaugural residency, jam band Phish signed on for a quick four-show engagement on April 18-21, 2024., before classic jam band Dead & Company launched its Dead Forever residency on May 16, 2024, finishing its 30-show residency run on Aug. 10, 2024.

Legendary rock band The Eagles launched their Sphere residency on Sept. 20, 2024, with four shows each in September and October, and then incrementally added four more shows each month for a total of 32 shows that are set to end on April 12, 2025.
The Eagles have not said whether the April shows are the final shows in the residency as the band's shows can share the calendar with other residencies.
While The Eagles continue their residency, Dead & Company decided to return to the Sphere for 18 more shows beginning on March 20, 2025, at the venue.

TheStreet
Dead & Company revealed a new run of shows in March, April, and May that features its current band lineup of original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, and Jay Lane. The residency is set to end on May 17.
Following the jam band, Sphere Las Vegas presents its first country superstar residency when popular singer Kenny Chesney opens his Live at Sphere engagement for 15 shows beginning May 22, 2025, and scheduled to end June 21, 2025.

The Backstreet Boys extend their Sphere residency
Finally, legendary 1990s boy band The Backstreet Boys have extended their "Into the Millenium" residency at Sphere Las Vegas by popular demand for three more shows on Aug. 8, 9, and 10.

Presale tickets are on sale now for all three shows as well as the previously announced 12 shows at Ticketmaster.com.

Fans can purchase remaining tickets for shows that went on sale earlier that are scheduled on July 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, Aug. 1, 2, and 3, 2025.
Tickets go on sale to the general public for all 15 shows on Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. Pacific time.
The Backstreet Boys previously performed their 80-show "Larger Than Life" residency from March 1, 2017, to April 27, 2019, at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.
The boy band's popularity grew in 1999 with their third album "Millennium," which debuted at No. 1 and sold 24 million copies with its massive hit single "I Want It That Way."
The Backstreet Boys to release a new album
The band has scheduled the release of its new album "Millennium 2.0" for July 11, 2025, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original "Millennium" release, according to the band's website.
The deluxe reissue album will include 25 tracks, including all 12 remastered tunes from the original album, live recordings, demos, including "I Want It That Way" and B-sides, including the alternate version of the hit song.
Fans can hear The Backstreet Boys new single "Hey" when they pre-save "Millennium 2.0." The new album can be preordered and presaved at Backstreetboys.com.
