
The Las Vegas Strip is full of entertainment for visitors ranging from casino gambling, headliner entertainment, celebrity chef restaurants, upscale shopping, and amusement venues.
Some of the most popular entertainment in Las Vegas is the variety of music stars performing residencies. Among those performers is 1970s superstar singer Barry Manilow, who in December 2024 signed on for a lifetime residency in the International Theater at the Westgate Las Vegas just off the Strip.

On the Strip, guests will find legendary singer Mr. Las Vegas Wayne Newton's "Wayne: Up Close and Personal" residency at the Wayne Newton Theater in Bugsy's Cabaret at the Flamingo, which has been extended through Dec. 31, 2025.

The list of the stars coming to the Strip in 2025 is impressive with Kelly Clarkson, Bryan Adams, Scorpions, Motley Crue, Sammy Hagar, Bruno Mars, and Lenny Kravitz all set to perform residencies this year.
Las Vegas Strip casinos closed several prominent headliner residencies in 2024 which set the stage for them to open all of those new engagements.
The biggest show to close its doors on the Strip in 2024 was Adele's "Weekends With Adele" residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. It opened on Nov. 18, 2022, and closed on Nov. 23. 2024, after two years and 100 performances.
REO Speedwagon retires from touring
Another significant closing on the Strip was classic rock band REO Speedwagon's residency at the Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort, which the band closed on Dec. 21 and then retired from touring.
Then, 2025 started with iconic rap superstar 50 Cent closing his first Las Vegas Strip residency "50 Cent: In Da Club" at Caesars Entertainment's (CZR) PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Jan. 4.

In some cases, a band's residency was canceled before they even performed.
Multi-platinum global supergroup Black Eyed Peas canceled their 15-show Las Vegas Strip residency "3008: A Space Odyssey" at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which was set to begin Feb. 15, 2025.

Blake Shelton closes sold-out Vegas Strip residency
Now, country superstar Blake Shelton is wrapping up his first-ever Vegas residency with the final show of his six-performance engagement at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Feb 15.

Tickets for the final show are pretty much sold out, as only 30 individual seats remained in the last row of the upper mezzanine Section 402 for as low as $139 before fees, but that was from a review of available seats on Feb. 13.

Two tickets together also remained in the second row in front of the stage in Section 105, Row B, for $1,255 per ticket before fees.
The only other option for fans is to consider secondary market ticket brokers for much higher-priced tickets.
Or fans can catch Shelton on his 12-show Friends & Heroes 2025 tour that begins Feb. 27 in Lexington, Ky., and ends March 22 in University Park, Pa.
He's also scheduled to perform a few other shows this year, including Opry 100 with Garth Brooks at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on March 19, and shows on March 29 in Fishers, Ind.; Tampa, Fla., on May 2; and Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Oct. 17.
