U2 offers a free attraction to its fans on the Strip

Fans of Bono, The Edge and the rest of the band, who are unable to score concert tickets, can still take advantage of Zoo Station: A U2:UV Experience, which is a "cutting-edge, multimedia interactive love letter to fans" with free admission, according to a statement from the band.

U2 and its longtime creative director Gavin Friday have collaborated with The Venetian Las Vegas to unveil a free fan portal beginning on Sept. 28, the day before the residency opens, comprised of 12,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space across two floors of the Venetian.

The exhibit includes a retrospective of Anton Corbijn's photography and videos, a pop up shop with exclusive merchandise, and a Zoo TV Cinema, which consists of an intimate theater where films curated by The Edge, including rare and unreleased concert footage, will screen each day

Zoo Station: A U2:UV Experience is intended to serve as a central destination and hub for fans, where they can congregate, celebrate, indulge in a little retail therapy, view exclusive U2 content, and immerse themselves in the band's musical and creative history, the statement said.

In addition to free admission to the Zoo Station venue, which includes the Anton Corbijn Gallery and U2 Pop Up Shop, fans can visit Zoo TV Cinema that shows five films daily for $15 per screening. The cinema's films will include new short films "Beyond the Tour," "A Day in the Life of The Edge," and more. Information about tickets and the screening schedule will be released in the coming weeks.

A limited number of complimentary tickets for each Zoo TV Cinema screening will be reserved for Vibee VIP package purchasers. Vibee VIP pass holders and Zoo Cinema ticket holders will receive priority access to the second floor of Zoo Station. The fan portal will be open exclusively to Vibee VIP passholders from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on performance days.

Fans can enter Zoo Station through The Venetian Resort's Waterfall Atrium near The Palazzo Casino floor. The fan portal will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
