American comedian and star of 1960s Western sitcom F Troop, Larry Storch, has died from natural causes, aged 99.
His death at his New York City apartment was confirmed in a statement, which read: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you the news our beloved Larry passed away in his sleep overnight.
"We are shocked and at a loss for words at the moment."
They added: "Please remember he loved each and every one of you and wouldn’t want you to cry over his passing. He is reunited with his wife Norma and his beloved F Troop cast and so many friends and family."
The exact cause of Larry's death was not disclosed.
The actor leaves one daughter Candace Herman and two stepchildren Lary May and June Cross.
Larry was best known for his role as Corporal Randolph Agarn in F Troop, which he was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1967.
He also appeared in children's TV shows The Ghost Busters as well as voiceover roles on Looney Tunes, voicing characters such as Cool Cat, Merlin the Magic Mouse, Spooky and Colonel Rimfire.
Before his time on the show, he started out as a standup comedian.
He also acted in an array of TV series and films including The Great Race, Airport 1975 and Without Warning. Larry was also an acclaimed voice actor.
Following his successful TV career, Larry went on to venture into the world of stage acting.
He performed on a series of Broadway productions including Porgy and Bess, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Annie Get Your Gun.
In 2014, Larry was awarded a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in California.
Tributes to the late, great actor poured in on Twitter.
One wrote: "Larry Storch passed away in his sleep last night. He was 99 and always a character. He also appreciated his fans. RIP and thanks for the laughs, Sir!"
Another added: "R.I.P. Larry Storch from The Ghostbusters. Dead an 99, that's a good run."
While a third wrote: "Phineas J. Whoopie, you're the greatest.
"RIP Larry Storch, the last living voice actor of the theatrical era of Looney Tunes shorts (literally giving the final LT line as Cool Cat) & the last living cast member of the popular sitcom F-Troop.
"Salute, corporal."
"99 years old. A Hollywood icon. Funny and gracious, right to the end. You shall be missed Larry Storch," another penned.
Larry was married to Norma Storch from 1961 until her death in 2003.
They both briefly appeared in the TV movie The Woman Hunter in 1972.
Larry's younger brother Jay was also an actor and voiceover artist, before his death in 1987.
