A teenager has been arrested after allegedly driving under the influence of drugs in Aberdeen.
The incident happened shortly after 7pm on Wednesday, November 30, when a 19-year-old man driving a Red Fiesta was pulled over by traffic cops on Queen's Road in the city.
Initially, the motorist had continued driving for half a mile despite Road Policing Officers having signalled for him to stop. He eventually drew up at a pedestrian crossing, where he was found to be in possession of drugs.
He underwent a drug test at the scene, which he subsequently failed. Photos taken following the bust, which were shared online, show the positive drug test alongside an evidence bag filled with what appears to be cannabis.
Another small bag appears to hold a white powder, and what seems to be a marijuana cigarette was also recovered. As a result of the find, the youngster was arrested in relation with drug and driving offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 7.15pm on Wednesday, 30 November, 2022, roads policing officers in Aberdeen stopped a car on Queen's Road in the city.
"A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with drug and driving offences and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
