International language school Kaplan has leased a townhouse at 26 St Andrew Square in the heart of Edinburgh city centre.
Relocating from Albyn Place, the school is set to occupy the entire building, which extends to 6,000 sq ft and was recently refurbished.
Adam Watt, senior surveyor with Cushman & Wakefield, which represented the landlord Aspin Estates, said: “26 St Andrew Square offers the best of both worlds – the traditional features of a classic Georgian townhouse alongside stylish contemporary interior finishes.”
Geoff Scott, director at Lambert Smith Hampton, which advised Kaplan on the search for new premises, added: “This is a unique opportunity in the market, as there are limited townhouse offices of this size, quality and location currently.”
Founded more than 80 years ago in the US, Kaplan has operations in 28 countries and offers training to more than a million students worldwide.
