Drivers headed south on Tharwa Drive were asked to take an alternate route after a crashed vehicle blocked lanes in Banks just after 4pm.
An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said three vehicles had crashed at roundabout between Box Hill Avenue and Tharwa Drive.
Southbound lanes on Tharwa Drive, a high-capacity road, were closed but reopened a short time later. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
One vehicle was reportedly on its side blocking traffic.
