A car has collided with a deer on the A19.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Holystone on Tuesday morning following the crash on the southbound carriageway.
Luckily, police confirmed that none of the occupants of the vehicle had been injured in the collision.

The road has now been cleared and the vehicle has been recovered.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: “We received a call at 9.51am to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a deer on the A19 near Holystone.
“There were no injuries reported and the vehicle has been recovered.
“The inside lane was closed but it has now been reopened.”
