Landmark Bristol office building secures two new lettings deals

Two companies have agreed lettings deals at one of Bristol’s landmark office buildings.

Fathom, which provides mapping software for flooding and climate risk assessment, and events management firm Brightelm have taken space at Clifton Heights near Brandon Hill.

Fathom is relocating from the nearby Square Works co-working space on Berkeley Square. The University of Bristol spin-out, formed in 2012, has taken a lease for 4,835 sq ft on the second floor south and west suites at Clifton Heights running until December 2026.

Conference organiser Brightelm is also moving from the Spectrum serviced office building on Bond Street to take 700 sq ft suite on a three-year lease.

With the agreements, three suites across Clifton Heights’ 14 floors are now unoccupied. Real estate firm Avison Young acted for the building’s landlords on the deals.

Avison Young director Paul Williams said: “Clifton is a popular and thriving business district, home to a wide variety of professional, media and marketing occupiers. With transport links readily accessible for staff and visitors, Brightelm and Fathom are relocating to one of Clifton’s best office locations.”

Avison Young said Clifton Heights’ new tenants represented themselves during the talks.
