If you've ever fancied running your own pub, then now might be your chance as one Cheshire pub is looking for a new landlord.
The opportunity to to take on The Old Red Lion in Little Sutton - a village on the Wirral Peninsula - has arisen as the current, long-standing licensees are looking to retire later this year reports Cheshire Live. The pub, which has previously been praised on Tripadvisor for its quiz nights, live music and "friendly" staff, is currently run by landlady Jackie Fadden.
After more than two decades at the helm, Jackie took to a local Facebook group to express how much she'll miss running the pub, while also posting information of how those interested can apply to takeover the running of the pub.

A post shared on Bring life to Little Sutton Facebook page, Jackie wrote: "What a wonderful last Christmas it has been for us @ The Olde Red Lion. We still have 5 glorious months until we retire.
"NO it's not going to be a Carvery, Food house, Restaurant, block of flats or anything else you have heard... YES!!! we are going to do our best to make sure it is the same as is...
"If you have a passion for live music and love Little Sutton village and the people that live here as much as we do then you can make an application to run this amazing pub @ www.stonegatepubpartners.co.uk/find-a-pub We are leaving for my health reasons and nothing more than that.
"We are also looking forward to being able to be on the other side of the bar with all of you. If you see this post and you don't know the pub or area be assured that it has THE BEST customers you could want in a pub. And the staff are amazing too.. We will miss it all so much but needs must.. Thank you for the last 20+yrs it's been amazing."
The pub in Little Sutton ranks well on Tripadvisor and has been described as a "great little pub" just down the road from the Premier Inn. Other reviews left on the site have praised he "amazing" staff and Jackie the landlady as "chatty and friendly".
