Lanarkshire YouTuber invited to BAFTA event as he tries to break into TV

A popular football YouTuber is hoping to make the move into television - and an invite to a special BAFTA breakfast is looking like his best opportunity yet.

Justin Gardiner, known as Juddy online, is known for his football vlogs where he films match days and stadium tours.

Specialising in Celtic content, he has also made videos at places such as Auchinleck Talbot, Motherwell FC and has even visited Inter Milan's stadium, the San Siro.

He has gathered a large online presence, with videos getting thousands of views on his YouTube channel.

Justin hopes his always looking to move forward in his career and hopes that an invite to London for the BAFTA awards is the next step.

Justin told Lanarkshire Live : "The BAFTA breakfast event is a great chance for me to network with people in the industry.

"There will be a lot of people from the media there such as Sky Sports and BT Sports.

"The industry is changing, you don't necessarily need a degree to have a role in TV anymore.

"The move from YouTube to TV is so much more common now.

"There are stars like Chunkz and Thogden who are always on TV. They started the same as me on YouTube."

Justin also has big plans for the rest of the year on his channel and hopes to continue the success of the last year.

Keeping up the matchday vlogs and interviews, he also has bigger plans that are still to be announced.

He said: "The Celtic content has been doing great and I will be keeping that going on the channel.

"I'd love to do more content across the UK and further and have some big plans in the works hopefully.

"The support on my videos and channel has been amazing, I've learned so much and have so many new skills through making my content."
