A council worker was shocked after spotting a mysterious object "falling from the sky" on Wednesday morning.
Vicky Young was outside her workplace around 8am on February 1 when she looked up to see the anomaly in Coatbridge.
The 45-year-old, from Bellshill, immediately took out her phone to capture what she thinks might have been "space debris".

Whatever it was, the encounter has left Vicky in a state of shock and she wants to know what it was.
She told Glasgow Live: "I was scurrying in when I turned around and there’s the thing. I thought it was a plane or something and it might change direction.
"The more it fell I thought that’s not right. It was over a prolonged period of time but surely something that size would make an impact.
"I was shocked and stunned.
"I went into work and asked my boss to come and see the video and they stood in amusement just staring at it. We didn’t know what to do.
"It could be a meteorite or some sort of space debris. You don’t see things falling straight down from the sky every day. If anybody knows what it is then we’ll all be glad to know."
