A top author will talk about her career at a Lanarkshire venue next month.
Lisa Gray will chat about her career at the No 18 venue in Rutherglen on Friday November 4.
A former journalist, Lisa, who lives in Rutherglen herself, has written a string of thrillers about private investigator Jessica Shaw, with the latest in the series, The Dark Room.
Lisa's debut novel, Thin Air, was a Washington Post and Wall Street Journal bestseller and she now writes full time as a career.
Her visit is the latest appearance by a writer at No 18, after crime author Christopher Brookmyre appeared there in October.
As part of Scotland’s Year of Stories and Scottish Book Trust Live Literature Programme, the event will be hosted by Cat Gibson from CamGlen Radio.
A live audience is invited to join for an hour long question and answer session with Lisa, where they can find out what inspires her writing and ask her questions of their own.
