Lanarkshire trampoline centre Flip Out set to add Laser Quest arena in refurbishment

A Lanarkshire trampoline centre is set to expand with the addition of a laser quest section.

Flip Out, based in Rutherglen, is to undergo a mini-refurbishment as part of the plan, which will see the next section open by December 17.

Bosses at the centre, on Southcroft Road, say they hope the experience will feel like stepping into a video game.

Teams will be pitched against each other over a multi-level arena with a space theme, offering a fun, competitive and exhilarating game to enjoy with friends and family.

Children aged six and over and adults alike will get the chance to stalk the labyrinths, catwalks and mazes, with special effects, music and lights. Guests will score points by zapping opponents and try not to lose points by getting zapped themselves.

Richard Beese, the co-owner of Flip Out, raved about the new experience.

He told Lanarkshire Live : "The team at Flip Out Glasgow are thrilled to be able to unveil plans for the refurbishment which will ensure that our indoor activity experience in Glasgow will be ever bigger and better and will be open in time for the Christmas holidays.

"This refurbishment is the first of a number of improvements that we are planning for Flip Out Glasgow."

Flip Out Glasgow, which is located in Rutherglen, has 63,000 square feet of trampolines, a top of the range soft play area for younger ones and an under 7s trampoline area.

It also currently has two basketball lanes, a huge main arena of trampoline beds, a wipeout machine, airbag, battle beams and a Ninja Warrior obstacle assault course.

The current inflatables on the site will also be expanded as part of the plans.

Flip Out owns and operates 11 parks across the UK in total.
