Preparations are well underway for this year's Larkhall Gala Day.
The full court including, queen and champion, have now been selected for the special day set to take place in the town on Saturday, June 18.
This year's Gala Queen will be Sophie Moore of Glengowan Primary School and the Champion will be Cole Gardiner of Craigbank Primary School.
The gala committee have worked hard over the last year in a bid to raise the much needed funds which go towards putting on the fun packed day.
A fundraising event will also be held on May 22 in the Q Lounge Larkhall, from 2-7pm with entertainment from singing duo JuBillee.
Chairperson of Larkhall Gala Day Committee, Hazel Holmes, told Lanarkshire Live: "After the success of the Christmas Market in December, we hope to have another successful turnout and support from the community again. The gala parade will start from Duke Street Park at noon and travel its way up to Larkhall Academy grounds where the gala day itself will take place.
"There will be lots of entertainment and fun things to do for all - we will have a selection of stalls, inflatables, stage entertainment, funfair, face painting, licensed bar, butchers BBQ and lots more, running until 4pm.
"Adam Hunt of 106.8FM will be hosting on the day with a variety of different live acts on the stage from local singers to dancers to drama and sing-a-longs. Strachan the new local butcher will be having a BBQ with lots of delicious foods. Wristbands will be available for all day play in the inflatable area. There will be free face painting and balloon modelling and a variety of different food and drinks will be available from stallholders."
