Lanarkshire teen last seen five days ago as urgent search appeal launched

Police have launched an appeal in their efforts to find a missing Lanarkshire teenager who disappeared five days ago.

Finn Riach, from Airdrie, was last seen at 8.45pm on Friday, June 30 and has not been seen since.

Police Scotland is asking anyone with any information about his whereabouts to come forward to help with their search.

The 14-year-old was wearing is described as 5ft 7in with long fair/blonde hair. He was wearing grey jeans, grey t-shirt, a grey hoodie and had a black motorhead beanie hat on at the time of disappearance.

It is believed that Finn has been using the rail network to make his way round the central belt.

Police Scotland said: "Anyone who may have seen Finn since this time or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 3981 of 30th June 2023."
