Larkhall Academy pupils this year gained the best SQA exam results on record for the Lanarkshire secondary school.
There was celebrations all round when 37 students in the school's S5 year group gained five Highers - 12 of these pupils getting straight As.
The pupils to achieve such top results are Keira Doyle, Grace Fleming, Maya Franks, Chloe Gilfillan, Hayley Gilfillan, Rhys Hogg, Mia Leckie, Laura McKitting, Emma Murdoch, Ellie Rodger, Emily Stevenson and Robbie Downs.
Amongst many outstanding individual achievements, Chloe Gilfillan also scored 100 per cent in the Higher Maths exam, with her twin sister Hayley dropping just one mark in the same exam, scoring 99 per cent.
Head Teacher Andy Smith told Lanarkshire Live : "I am delighted that the hard work of our pupils and staff has been recognised with this outstanding set of SQA results.
"It has been a very difficult two years and our pupils have shown incredible resilience during this period.
"In 2017, one pupil achieved 5 As and 21 pupils gained five Highers, so it’s great to see the progress we have made over the years."
