Lanarkshire road shut for more than a week for carriageway and footway excavation work

A Coatbridge road is closed for over a week for the excavation of a carriageway and footway for a “network upgrade”.

Crichton Street is shut until February 11 between the B803 Sunnyside Road and Lincoln Court, with the former road, Colt Terrace and the B804 Dunbeth Road available as alternative routes for drivers.

And Inverary Drive in Gartcosh will close from 9.30am to 6pm on February 28, from properties three to nine.

This is to allow for the “repair of a Scottish Water carriageway cover” and motorists will be able to use Duart Way, Drumlanrig Crescent and Scalloway Road as diversions.
