Lanarkshire racecourse all set to celebrate Queen's Jubilee

Hamilton Park Racecourse is all set to celebrate Her Majesty's Jubilee in style, when it hosts a day out for all the family next week.

Join Hamilton Park for the ultimate Bank Holiday day out for all the family with thrilling racing, delicious food, and thirst-quenching drinks to be enjoyed alongside some Jubilee-themed celebrations on Thursday, June 2.

With lots going on the racecourse are also offering a classic afternoon tea package.

A spokesperson for Hamilton Park told Lanarkshire Live: "Grab your picnic blankets, find a prime position on the lawns and enjoy some mouth-watering savoury delights including sausage rolls and quiche, to irresistible buttermilk scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and a selection of sweet treats, every item has been designed for you to celebrate your day out at the races, Jubilee style!"

Gates for the event open at 11.30am with the bar closing at 6pm.

There will be some excellent racing on the cards too with the first race at 1.26pm and the last race at 4.55pm

Adult tickets cost £16.50 when you book online from hamilton-park.co.uk in advance, with under 18s free.

Tickets will also be available to purchase at gate on the day priced at £20.
