Police are searching for a missing man who hasn't been seen since Friday afternoon.
Officers have described 33-year-old Ross Pate's disappearance as 'very out of character' as they launch an appeal to help trace him.
The Carluke man left for work at 3.30pm on Friday, but his family haven't been able to get in touch with him since.
He was driving his grey Seat Ibiza car - SE16 GXD - and is described as white, 5 ft 11 in height, of slim build, with short light brown hair, facial hair, and was wearing blue jeans, blue zipper top and white trainers.
Police say Ross is known to frequent the Wishaw and Motherwell areas of Lanarkshire, as they encourage anyone with information to come forward.
The Lanarkshire Police Division said: "Police are appealing for the assistance of the public to trace 33-year-old Ross Pate who was reported missing from his home in Carluke this morning, Saturday, 5 February, 2022.
"Ross, was last seen leaving for work around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon, 4 February, 2022. Despite efforts to contact him by police and his family, no one has been able to get in touch with him and there have been no further sightings of him."
Inspector Ross Aitken, Police Scotland, is appealing for information. He said: "Ross drove off to work in his grey Seat Ibiza car - SE16 GXD - but he didn't turn up and when he didn't come home last night or get in contact with his family, police were called as this is very out of character for him.
"He is known to frequent Wishaw and Motherwell areas. We would ask Ross to get in touch with his family or police to let us know he is ok.
"If you have seen Ross, his car, or have any information that will help us find him, then please call police via 101 quoting reference number 0061 of Saturday, 5 February, 2022."
