Lanarkshire police launch appeal for information over missing man

Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for help in tracing a missing 61-year-old.

Stephen Lynas was reported missing from the East Kilbride area around 4.45am on Monday.

He was last seen in the Eaglesham Road area of the town and is believed to have made his way into Glasgow City Centre.

Described as 6ft with thinning hair, Stephen was last seen wearing a black jacket, black beanie hat, cream jumper, black trousers and brown shoes.

A Police Scotland source told us: “It should be noted that the picture attached below is approximately 20 years old.”

Anyone with any inforamtion is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
