Lanarkshire Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of missing 86-year old James Clark. James, who is a resident of Orchard House Care Home in Crossford, Carluke was last seen at around 6:20pm on Saturday April 1.
He is described as white, around 5 feet 4 inches tall, of very slim build with grey hair. James was last known to be wearing a dark top, dark navy trousers and black shoes with Velcro straps.

Inspector Chivers from Hamilton Police station commented: "James has been missing for a number of hours now, and his family are understandably worried about him.
"We have a number of police resources out looking for James, and I am now looking for assistance from the public to keep a look out for James and check any dash cam footage within vehicles which may have been in and around Orchard House Care Home at the time in question. I also request members of the public check their gardens and outbuildings."
James' family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. If you have seen him, or if you have any information that could lead to locating him, please contact police on 101 quoting the reference number 3586 of April 1.
