Lanarkshire police investigating break-in at Motherwell school

Police are investigating a break-in at a Motherwell school.

Officers confirmed they were investigating a report of a housebreaking at Dalziel High School that occurred at 5.40am on April 18.

It has been reported that a window has been smashed and entry gained to the school, although police have not confirmed if anything was stolen.

In a separate incident, police also confirmed they are currently investigating a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at Hareshaw Road, Cleland, that occurred at 10.45pm on April 16.

It has been reported that a White Ford Focus was stolen from the driveway of an address.

Anyone with any information relating to either incident should contact police on 101.
