Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information after a teenage girl was assaulted in a 'busy area' of Hamilton.
The 17-year-old youth was close to the football pitches on Dixon Street around 8pm on Saturday, September 24, when she was attacked. Officers are looking to trace a man thought to be aged between 20 and 25 in connection with the incident.
The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, and wearing a light grey hooded top and blue shorts.

Detective Inspector Lorraine Wilson East Kilbride Police Office said: “This is a busy area and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this assault take place or has information that will assist our enquiry.
“If you noticed anyone matching this description please get in touch with police.
“Any drivers with dash-cam footage who passed the area around that time and observed the man and woman are also asked to contact officers.
"Anyone with information should contact 101 with reference 3469 of 24 September. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
