Lanarkshire police appeal for witnesses after assault near train station

Lanarkshire police have appealed for witnesses after a person was assaulted near a train station in the region.

The incident happened at 8.25am on Thursday, March 31 at Newton Brae in Cambuslang, near to Newton Train Station.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged 40-50, short dark hair, wearing a white top, blue bottoms, black trainers and carrying a blue jacket.

It is believed he was accompanied by a child at the time.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 0603 of 31/03/22.
