Lanarkshire podcast studio open day to feature live music performances

A podcast studio will open its doors to the public for a look inside this weekend.

G4 Podcast Studios in Wishaw opened its first studio last July and has already welcomed many guests to record.

And to celebrate the opening of their second studio, they will be hosting an open day to show off the new facilities.

The event will be open to anyone, with G4 staff on hand to answer any questions people may have.

And there will be other businesses at the event too who also operate out of the G4 offices.

Extra Events specialise in event and party supplies, and they will celebrate their grand opening at the open day on Saturday.

Francesca's Kloset, a clothing boutique, will have a pop-up shop at the event as well as numerous photo opportunities including a "barbie car".

And there will be special live music performances from Clyde 1s DJ Cassie and Wishaw locals Saint PHNX.

The brothers in Saint PHNX will play a set at two o'clock, just weeks before they prepare to set off on tour.

G4 Podcast manager, Greg Rudder, is excited for the open day and for people to see the hard work they have put into the space.

He told Lanarkshire Live : "It's all well and good when you see pictures of the studio online but I think people will be blown away when they come and see the studio in person.

"We use state of the art equipment and have state of the art studios. When people come to see them they will be blown away.

"The open day will be great, Nicole (G4 Claims owner) has put so much time into making the offices look great and Saturday will be an amazing chance for people to see what we have been up to."

The event will take place at the G4 HQ (9 Pickering Works, Netherton Road, Wishaw, ML2 OEQ) on Saturday, March 19 starting at 11 o'clock.
