The manager of an East Kilbride medical practice embezzled £155,000 from her employers.
Jacqueline Rodger, 55, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
She admitted taking the cash from Greenhills Medical Practice between April 2014 and February 2018.
She had originally been charged with embezzling more than £224,000 between July 2011 and February 2018, but her guilty plea to the charge involving a reduced sum was accepted.
Sheriff Martin Jones adjourned the case for background reports.
Rodger, of Pentland Road, East Kilbride, must return to court for sentence on October 31.
