A Lanarkshire man caught cultivating cannabis plants in his rented flat has been jailed for 14 months.
Michael Olone, 31, was snared with 29 plants and paraphernalia in Rutherglen on March 6, 2020.
Glasgow Sheriff Court this week heard police obtained a warrant to enter his home but were initially unable to gain entry.
His landlord was contacted who let officers inside.
They later uncovered the plants and the equipment across the four rooms in the flat.
Prosecutor Lauren Donnelly added: "All plants found contained cannabis buds and were four feet high.
"Officers recovered a total of 29 plants with a value of £11,600."
Olone was later arrested and gave a no comment interview to the police.
He pled guilty to producing a controlled drug.
