All South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture facilities will be closed on Monday to pay respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Monday, September 19, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, will be a national bank holiday.
It means all South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture venues will be closed on Monday, with the exception of essential vaccination and foodbank services.
Cultural Activities in South Lanarkshire wrote on their Facebook Page: “This will allow individuals, businesses and other organisations to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign, while marking the final day of the period of national mourning.”
