Police in Uddingston are appealing for information after a teenager was struck by a car on Friday.
The “serious road crash” happened around 7pm on February 11 on New Edinburgh Road in the town.
That saw a 15-year-old girl girl struck by a black Audi car before being taken to Wishaw General for treatment.
She has since been transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where her injuries are described as “serious”.
PC Andrew Coutts told Lanarkshire Live: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
“I am asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or was in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch.
“I would also ask if there are any other motorists with possible dashcam footage or anyone with information that may help with our investigation to contact police.”
Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact police on 101.
