More than 21 years after their bodies were found on a Lanarkshire dirt track the murders of John Hall and David McIntosh remain unsolved.
The 45 and 33-year-old had been shot in what police believed at the time to be a gangland execution.
A huge investigation was mobilised following the grim discovery at an old scrap yard, near a go-karting arena on Merryton Road, Larkhall, on Tuesday, October 2, 2001.

The case was initially investigated by Strathclyde Police before it merged with forces across the country to create Police Scotland. More than 50 detectives were assigned, with officers from the Serious Crime Squad drafted in to help.
But despite years of investigation their killer, or killers, have never been brought to justice.
Detective Superintendent John Carnochan of Strathclyde Police led the investigation at the time and spoke of the devastation faced by the men's families.
Mr Hall lived in Wishaw with his wife and two teenage daughters. He also had a 23-year-old son from a previous relationship.
Mr McIntosh lived with his partner Diane.
They were last been seen by their families when they left for a night out together the day they died.
The police enquiry was extended to Gretna Green after a sighting of them and Mr McIntosh's black Volkswagen Golf at a dog track before their deaths.
However, the case remains open and anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Detective Inspector Stuart Grainger from Police Scotland told Glasgow Live this week: “Unresolved murders are never closed and Police Scotland is fully committed to identifying those people responsible for all such cases.
"Police Scotland works closely with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and meets regularly to review outstanding unresolved murders from across the country to maximise the ability to deliver justice for grieving families, irrespective of the passage of time.
"The murders of John Hall and David McIntosh remain unresolved."
