A Easter Fair set up by a local woman has been a great success.
Samantha Mcaleer, who owns online clothing boutique, Be Real Boutique organised and hosted the fair.

The event was a huge success with many locals attending the event with the Body Shop in attendance, a local dance school AJ Dance performing as well as knitted goods and delicious cupcakes.
Samantha’s own daughter, Quinn Hutcheson and son Daley Hutcheson also got involved in the fun.
She previously told Lanarkshire Live: “I wanted to help small businesses because of the impact that COVID has had on them, so I thought if I hold this fair and put a post out for other small businesses then I could put something together.

“I want it to be busy so people can see it and I can continue to do it. “

Samantha is hoping to be able to continue to organise similar events but in different areas such as Rutherglen.
She added: “I tried to look for unique things for the fair and tried to make sure everything is different.
“Even my daughter got involved and was selling some toys.
“We had originally planned for the fair to be on Sunday, but changed it knowing that the old firm game was on."
The Easter fair took was held on Saturday, April 2 at North Halfway Hall.
