Lanarkshire couple desperate to retrieve car stolen from outside their house

An Overtown couple have issued an emotional plea to help find their car after it was stolen from outside their house last night.

Nicole Stevenson and partner Jason reported their blue Ford Fiesta ST stolen after it wasn't on their drive when they woke up.

The distraught pair have no idea what time the car was stolen, but neighbours have said it was not there around 5am today (Wednesday) at their Overtown address.

This has proved a difficult situation for the couple, as they now only have one car but both work in different areas of Lanarkshire.

Jason is a car parts delivery driver and Nicole works as a clinical support worker for the NHS.

The car's registration is SJ16 GDZ and it was stolen from the couple's home on Gillburn Street in Overtown.

Nicole has contacted Police Scotland but is currently awaiting a crime reference number.

If there is anyone with information on the vehicle, you should contact Nicole on Facebook.

Information should also be given to the police on 101. Information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
