Lanarkshire cops trace missing man after concerns over welfare

Police in East Kilbride have traced a missing man after concerns were raised over his welfare.

say they are increasingly concerned over the welfare of a missing man.

And now they are asking for help from the public in tracing the 38-year-old.

Stephen Sanders was reported missing from the area on Sunday afternoon.

He was last seen in the town’s Whitehills area at around 1.55pm.

Sergeant Laura Thomson told Lanarkshire Live: “Stephen was last seen getting into his red Nissan, registration DY16 VJZ.

“I would ask if anyone knows where he is or has seen this vehicle to get in touch.

“We are growing increasingly concerned for him and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
