Thick black smoke could be seen for miles when a blaze broke out at a Lanarkshire building site.
The fire broke out on Saturday night with flames tearing through materials at Langlands on Greenhills Road, East Kilbride around 9pm.
Firefighters raced to the scene and managed to bring it under control before precious woodland next to the site was destroyed, Lanarkshire Live reports. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, but thankfully no one was injured.
