A band from Lanarkshire who released their debut single last week said they are shocked at the recent support.
Bandit Country formed at the end of last year after first coming up with the idea in lockdown.
With members from Motherwell, Wishaw and Hamilton, the five-piece debuted their first single, Lake To River, last week.
And already fans have been praising the young band and spreading the word on social media about the release.
Bassist Murray Telfer has never played in a band before and has said that he has loved the experience so far.
He told Lanarkshire Live: "I didn't expect this level of support, none of us did.
"Our first couple of gigs were packed out with friends and family and they were amazing, we didn't even have a song out yet.
"Then we released the single on Friday and people loved it. So many people were tagging us in posts on social media saying they loved the song.
"So many people got in touch after that to say they had heard of us through pals, it was crazy.
"We had planned a release show on the same night but we couldn't make the dates work with a venue.
"Nice N Sleazy's managed to get us in on Sunday night and the atmosphere was electric, I think we were just a couple tickets off a sell-out."
After Sunday's gig, the band plans to continue releasing music and playing live.
"I think we will be playing live a lot more now that the song has been released," Murray said.
"We really enjoy being on stage and playing for people, its one of the best things about being in a band.
"And we hope to get another song out there for people to hear before the new year, so keep an eye out."
