A Lanarkshire theatre and drama school is set to entertain audiences with two fantastic shows.
Self-funded am-dram group, Encore Stars Academy, have two shows coming up at East Kilbride Village Theatre next week starting with the adult class performance of Little Shop of Horrors on Tuesday, April 26 at 7.30pm.
This is followed by the junior's performance of Matilda on Thursday, April 28 and Friday 29 at 7pm and on Saturday, April 30 at 2pm ad 7pm.
Allen Hannah, who founded Encore in 2013, told Lanarkshire Live : "We run Encore Stars Academy as a registered charity and it's based in East Kilbride.
"We moved to our new studio which I helped fund by streaming on Facebook during lockdown.
"Sadly, builders let us down and now more than ever we are looking to build back post COVID and continue to offer young people and adults a place to come and learn and have fun and ultimately perform.
"As a charity, especially after COVID, it's been challenging and we are seeking new ways to self-fund our plans to support the local community and not just young people but a whole range of age groups.
"And by having more people involved we would be able to meet these challenges head on and grow our studio and provide more and better services."
